I was going to wait till I have more stuff to show, but I simply can not wait that long.

My first attempt at making polymer clay plugs/talons

One for me, 5/8" snake coil plug: [It's a little uneven, but I adore it!]

One for Heart: 2g spiral bone talon:

One for sale, 0g spiral flat top plug:

I had extra clay, so I decided to make a rose, I'll be making it into a ring soon!

I hope you guys like it! Any advice for improvement will be highly appreciated! [specially on the glazing part I hate dust!]

Hey check you out with the polymer clay! They look great, I've always wanted to try to make plugs.
I seal/glaze all my stuff with Minwax water-based Polycryclic. Dries uber fast and doesn't get tacky like polyurathane.

Thank you, I'm a piercer, so I have a lot of jewelries with different gauges, and I just use those as guides :)

Lovely! I never had the hand for coils, I've been on and off, back in Highschool I made straight plugs, and the ONLY way I kept dust out was washing my hands thoroughly then when I glazed I covered the jewelery with a tubberware container. When they were dried completely I'd rub them with an eye glass cloth till they were super shiny!

Hope that helps!

That's a fantastic idea, thanks! :) It will be just like handling resin!

Thanks! This is my first attempt in playing with polymer clay, I've always wanted to use pc but I couldn't decide what to make first, but when I found out that it was possible to make plugs/talons I rushed to the store and got some! lol
