I remember how Threadbanger used to be so ECO ECO ECO…I kinda miss that :[ but I was looking at their old videos and I came across their How To Make Quilts For The Homeless video. Its getting chilly outside and I bet some of the homeless would appreciate some warm quilts. I plan on making some with my friends since I have a lot of extra fabric that I have no plans for. I hope you guys can make some too!

And for the extra little things to put inside the bag, i would go to the dollar store and buy some soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, (a lot of these can be made!) hair brush or comb, deodorant, disposable razors, a mini mirror, a couple hairbands, and a few dollars (include some in quarters).

I forgot to add something...you could also make them a rain poncho or buy a cheap one for when it rains.

Great idea. :) You could also incorporate old/worn clothing of your own that you no longer wear into the blankets. Maybe be sure that the bag is something that's waterproof, as that could become a problem.

I think this is great! While people often know they could do these things I think they often forget about doing this when it isn't brought to their attention.
I don't have much in the way of time to make anything with school or any money to buy extras. However I bet I could go through some of my things and find some stuff I could donate in the clothing area.
I think anyone who wants to get involved but doesn't have the time to make or buy stuff should see what they have that is still good to give to others.
