A friend took this picture at a convention this weekend and thought I would be interested.

Cool back! So I used my "Bloody Brothers" tee to recreate the back.

Looks like I just need to pull the bottom of the shirt lower. I don't have that cool tattoo that the convention lady has, but o well!

What do you guys think?

p.s. This was a sickeningly quick project. Make a slit in the lower back. Sew a two inch tube up the center of the top part. Run drawstring through. Done. Took me 15 minutes top!:D

I'm getting so many ideas here it's great. I'm amazed that it only took 15 minutes. You would probably have to pay loads to get a top like that in a "normal" shop. I think I'll go get lost in some second hand store over the weekend with all the projects.

this is totally amazing, i just did it on a shirt that was too big for me, it turned out sorta cute do you think it would work better on a fitted tee?

It would definitely work better on a fitted tee. Fitted would stretch out the butterfly nicely. Use the pinch and pin method to turn your too big shirt into a fitted tee and you're done!

ooooh i just did it with one of my fav fitted tees and since i cut a bit off the bottom its a tad tiny bit short but not enough to notice but it looks TOTALLY awesome thanks a bunch for posting this cause i never would have thought of it (once i get batteries ill post a pic)

ha no prob thank you for the idea, mine is a bit dif than yours because i kinda just did it rather than thinking of how i was doing it but im still satisfied with it ( srry bout the pic being too dark the batteries were dying so it wouldnt take a good pic) it looks better in good lighting but i love it. The one bright pic i do have doesn't do justice to my shirt lol http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/bjababy/IM000071.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/bjababy/IM000073.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/bjababy/IM000069.jpg

Thanks ^_^ I've been trying to figure out what i was gonna do with this shirt and this was just the thing and it only took about 15 minutes like you said, hand sewing and all you should put it in the tutorial forum ( it may be simple but its still good enough for a tutorial) I now love my shirt way more than i did before (not only is it funny, its cute now too ^.^)
