That's really interesting...but everything has been the same untill we
got our grill. Can eating too much red meat give you headaches?
Cuz Sevens been grilling all kinds of meats lately and that's when my headaches started.

Depends on what it is marinated in or seasoned with. I've never heard of meat overdose headaches but maybe the fumes from the grill if you are outside with him while he's cooking. I don't know, I just know what kicks them in for me so I try to avoid them.

In other news, my lawn is mowed and I have a blister on my thumb. It was 90F today. It felt great but I am not used to that kind of heat this early in the year. I probably have a bit of a sunburn but it was worth it. Since I stink from being all sweaty, I'm going to soak in the bath.

Has anyone ever had a custom order fall through?

I was making two purple skirts for some friend's of my brother. They were to wear to prom with some corsets that they already bought (their twins who like to match, odd I know). But they got grounded and are no longer going to the prom, now I have these two skirts that they can't get their parents to buy... it pisses me off but then again they shouldn't have snuck out to go to a party. I mean I've known these girls since they were like 10 years old and I figured they were reliable enough for me to take two special orders from them. Damn kids *ugh* now I gotta sell them on my Etsy, for probably half price or something

They live down the street from my grandma so I actually did ask the parents, which makes me even more mad. They said they would buy the skirts for the girls and now that they are grounded I called them and told them that I had already made them, the mom (who shall remain un-named) said she was sorry but they just weren't going to get them. So at least I know to never make anything for them, or any kids really, until I have the money or half of it at least, up front.

I'm such a party animal. After cooking myself in the sun mowing grass, I went to bed last night at 10 pm. Either I'm getting old, or heat+work+minor cold=fatigue. Today's project is to get a little reading done and to tidy up my house.

I spent 1hr driving to Boise
2hr grocery shopping with a 14lb baby tied on my front, and pushing a 25lb 2yr old in a cart that got increasingly heavier as time progressed.
and 1 hr driving home
to spend another 1hr putting it all away.
my back is sore , and my sandals gave my feet blisters.
I was SUPPOSED to be out in Boise with my friend sans children having a nice quite lunch, at a sushi bar..followed by dessert of some kind...but dh got called into work so I had to cancel my nice lunch.
ole well we needed food in the house.

now I just gotta figure out how to go about doing that...and then pass around a sign up sheet....which prolly no one will sign....cause ppl always SAY they want to learn how to quilt but never actually DO it.
also I was thinking about using some of my blocks that I made a while back do you think there is enough variety to keep ppl interested?? I think there's a thread in the projects in work forum. and should I make up some like worksheets for them to take home to referance? SO MUCH PRESSURE!!!

buy a new planner...and write it down again...then cross it off...it'll give you that visual conformation that you're looking for
and donna....that necklace was UBER cute...but I know it's hard to get rid of things you like
hey vicki....I know this will sound kind of (read REALLY) harsh but letting him watch tv is not you babysitting it's the TV BABYSITTING. depending on his age there's TONS you can do with him..if you need ideas lemme know...I"m a SAHM with 4 kids and we DON"T EVER WATCH TV during the day...or at night...mostley cause we only have a tv hooked up to the dvd player, xbox stuff...and the kids are really only allowed to watch movies on Fri night...and Sat morning....

in other news....Sefiny is 14lbs now..and 23.5 inches long..so the size of your typical 5 month old!!
and she has pink eye...from sucking on her fingers and then whacking herself in the eye...LOL so have cream...will apply..hurray

Yeah, I think so? I've never been on serious antibiotics, but my friend was and they totally messed with her energy levels.

TIP FOR ALL:

Make sure your screws are all tight in your machines! The screw that was holding my lower blade up on my serger was loose and the blade slipped down so the blades were hitting each other. >.< It would've cost me almost fifty dollars to replace both of them. I feel like an idiot for not checking the screws periodically.

If it is azithromycin (Zithromax) one of the side effects is sleepiness. Also be careful if you are going out in the sun, it can make you more likely to burn.

Anyone here know about makeup/facial care?

I recently bought foundation and was told my skin was too dry and needed to exfoliate more (at least twice a week). Sooo, i'm bad at skin care, like really bad. I've been washing my makeup off with a facecloth and whatever soap we have on the bathroom sink. Also, I was told to get facial moisturizer to hydrate my skin and to use as a base moisturizer before applying foundation. Now I also have a brush to put that on... I didn't wear foundation yesterday or today, but I have been using the moisturizer, and this morning i've noticed some blotchy redness and some breakout on my chin. I'm so new to this! haha I have no idea what I am at!

Either the soap I use is irritating my skin, or the moisurizer?

Yes Tampopo is right. Nuetragema is what I use as cleaner.
It's an oil-free cleanser and for my moisterizer and toner I use Clinic.
My mom use to buy me Christian Dior but it made my skin too dry.

My internet connection is low again for some stupid reason, so I'm on my little Asus Eee PC and "borrowing" my neighbor's wireless signal again.

I also really feel bad about gentrification, because it kicks poor people out of their buildings and there isn't really enough affordable housing in Chicago. But the apartments are built, anyway.

I need to move out of this apartment, because my management company was stupid and raised the rents really high for all of their apartments. Also, it reminds me too much of my relationship with the xbf, and I need to move on and start fresh.

Yes you can wash it on delicate cycle and add fabric softener to the final rinse, this always works for me.:)

There are now 3 confirmed cases of swine in my town and about 9 cases in the surrounding towns. I am not freaked out at ALL. But on my Facebook newsfeed every single status is related to it. I kid you not. Every one. Plus, the town has shut down the elementary school and is considering the high school next. WTF?! And the middle schoolers have to go while their siblings are off for 7 days?!?!

this whole swine flu business is being thrown completely out of proportion by the media. we americans are concerned with our 7 (or what is it now?) deaths while more people in mexico are dying because they don't have access to healthcare. and schools are being shut down because kids are complaining on "flu-like" symptoms that might as well be the common cold (it is spiking this time of year anyway). i blame news anchors with their over-dramatic tones when they report the news.

well its cool that you have thought up all those events but give realistic deadlines so they have enough time to do what they need to finish em and to have a life other than threadbanger. if threadbanger is the only thing you do cool more power to you but most people have lifes. give realistic deadlines and make sure they get the help they need you know. if you do an event then give the people who want to participate enough time a realistic time. like a month to do it not just two weeks. this is just my opinion so you understand
