I can't find my cell phone. I think my daughter has it.

Update on the phone... my daughter stuck it in her pocket, went to her boyfriends house, his dog barfed on her pants, his mom washed her pants and my phone. I'm not a happy camper but luckily my sister is giving me her old phone. Thank the gods for sisters with extra $$$. So with any luck, I should have a phone again by tomorrow.

I don't exactly know what it takes to make a layered skirt, but is it possible you could make the rest of the team do the repetitve work (cutting, pinning) while you actually did the hard work. I don't know how long that would take, but it was a suggestion.
Even if you can't manage to make the skirts, I'm sure you'll get through it and be okay.:)

I might have pneumonia. we all got this cold and sicne I'm 'preg I couldn't take meds to treat the symptoms (runny nose congestion) so it has given me a joint sinus infection and ear infection and the DR is unsure if it's now pneumonia cause they need to do an xray to find out..but they can't cause I'm preg. I"m getting ticked off
also I have no voice which is fun with 3 kdis in the house!!

That sux.. hopefully they will treat you with a good broad spectrum antibiotic your unfortunately kinda outa luck on the decongestants. They used to let you take sudafed but I don't know if they let you do that now when you are pregnant. Being sick and preggo at the same time is about the worst. It's like I'm 15, my parents refuse to drive me anywhere, won't let me walk (WTH?), or let me take the bus. It's like that eliminates all my options. ya you can take sudefed when preg...but I'm one of the lucky one's that has an adverse reaction to that drug normally (it makes my heart race so I'm not allowed to take it while preg cause that's not good for the baby)
I"m on a Z pack (since I'm allergic to amoxicillin) for the infections. and this is just the begining of flu season!! and it's a good thing that we moved on base where I don't have to pay for my water..cause the only thing that helps with the congestion is steaming water.

I am a science nerd. I am an old science nerd- that is to say, I've earned a Bachelor of Science and am working on my second one before I actually fill out the paperwork and -get- my degrees, which makes me quite young in the field of science, but not so much in the field of science enthusiasts. I am feeling better....and can breath pretty well today so I'm hoping that I hacked most of that stuff out...down side...no voice!!

Showers and naps in the middle of the day. People actually do that???? I'm so jealous. The only mid-day naps I get is when I fall asleep at my desk at work or in class and I can't remember my last mid-day shower.

I tried and failed the SAHM thing. It just wasn't for me but I have always envied those who were financially and psychologically able to do it.

The intership I applied for just called me (I already know I got in; found that out several months ago). You know, 'just to check in'. They really are nice people. It's just that I'm not sure If I'm going to actually end up interning with them, because it costs a pretty penny. Actually, it costs a lot of pretty pennies, none of which I own.

I'm so undecided. Do I commit? I have until next May to get my deposit in, a.k.a commit.

When I woke up my upper lip was all swollen.

It still is. I'm not sure why.

So now my lips look really pouty, which isn't something to complain about, i suppose, but still. Why is it swollen???

It's pretty much like a normal laptop, but with less power, and the battery doesn't last as long. But it has Linux, and you can upgrade to Windows XP. It's got a 7 inch screen, and a teensy microphone, and a teeny webcam I haven't figured out yet.

And it's cute. :D I want to hug her!

It turns out the Asus Eee has a bunch of online fans, so I can learn more about it. I bought it b/c it was $350 from a student who'd graduated from the uni where I work (for the next two months)

And I got a really nice pair of canvas sneaker style shoes, but suede leather for a really good price, and since I just killed a pair of canvases (£6 in February) I don't mind shelling out £18 for a pair that should do me through the winter. I hear suede can get waterstained, but they're already black, and y'know... What the heck. It's like they say with white sneakers; only two kind of people buy them - people who want to show how clean they can keep them, and people who want to show how dirty they can get them. I'm definitely in the latter category.

Also, I had dinner out with some good friends, and then we had chocolate banana brownies.

Well, if you change your mind & decide that you don't want to muck up your shoes (though I somehow doubt this), you can get suede conditioner from your local cobbler to put on the suede to protect it from getting water stained.

No, I'm not "one of those people".

I said that simply for the fact that it would be stupid to have escalators outside, unprotected. They would be susceptible to the weather and therefore breakdown a lot. Escalators inside break down enough as is, why would you put such expensive machinery outside?

Plus, you know, electricity + rain = kind of bad idea.

So I'm trying to get back the ridiculously fit swimmer's body I had a few years ago. Now that I'm swimming on a regular basis, I find myself craving & eating a lot of bread & cheese.

But I don't think that counts as a 'diet' in the everyday sense of the word, though it probably should since it relates to the type of foods being eaten. But I digress).

well i didnt get a place doing the modeling for bravissimo. :( i knew i wasnt right for it, i knew they wanted "real" women who were skinny not fat like me.

oh an to add insult to injury my boyfriend of 2yrs and 9months broke up with me. this is the man that i had a miscarriage with his baby. it took a very good friend to point out that i deserved better than him, and the way he was treating me was wrong. i love him, but im not in love with him.
i feel ugly and i know im never gonna find another guy cause im disgusting. i hate myself.
i cant even find a dress for my 21st b-day. i really wanted to buy a dress but i cant find anything, theres no patterns i like. i dont even know what i want. i know now that theres no point in me even trying to celebrate my 21st cause im not gonna look pretty or feel pretty. everyone else is gonna look better than me. its not fair :(

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A judge has thrown out a Nebraska legislator's lawsuit against God, saying the Almighty wasn't properly served due to his unlisted home address. State Sen. Ernie Chambers filed the lawsuit last year seeking a permanent injunction against God.

He said God has made terroristic threats against the senator and his constituents in Omaha, inspired fear and caused "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth's inhabitants."

Chambers has said he filed the lawsuit to make the point that everyone should have access to the courts regardless of whether they are rich or poor.

On Tuesday, however, Douglas County District Court Judge Marlon Polk ruled that under state law a plaintiff must have access to the defendant for a lawsuit to move forward.

"Given that this court finds that there can never be service effectuated on the named defendant this action will be dismissed with prejudice," Polk wrote.

Chambers, who graduated from law school but never took the bar exam, thinks he's found a hole in the judge's ruling.

"The court itself acknowledges the existence of God," Chambers said Wednesday. "A consequence of that acknowledgment is a recognition of God's omniscience."

Therefore, Chambers said, "Since God knows everything, God has notice of this lawsuit."

Chambers has 30 days to decide whether to appeal. He said he hasn't decided yet.

Chambers, who has served a record 38 years in the Nebraska Legislature, is not returning next year because of term limits. He skips morning prayers during the legislative session and often criticizes Christians.

yesterday i got asked out by 3 guys (idk, that has NEVER happened before) and since we broke up ive had 9 guys tell me how beautiful i am. since we broke up i actually have friends (when we were together i never had friends or was allowed out in london by myself) and ive been asked to FOUR halloween parties!
and your right i wasnt looking hard enough. but i randomly went on the warehouse website and *tada* the PERFECT dress!!! and to make it even better i bought a magazine yesterday and my boss pointed out a 20% off voucher for warehouse! yay!!!
and you read my mind, i wanted my 3dr holes in my lugs doin but was scared to incase i ended up back with my ex (he hates piercings tatts an everythin, he went off it when i got my second holes done an didnt speak to me for a week lol)

Can't buy from alternative shops because - hey, get this - they only do skinny little kid sizes. I can't even buy from shops which seem to be aimed precisely at people who bear a passing resemblance to me, like H&M or New Look (a very, very, very passing resemblance) in fact, today, I had to buy jeans from Marks&Spencers... Not that there's anything wrong with that.
