Okay, so I have been promising to post once I could figure out how to get the pictures off my camera without a cable, and I have, so here you are, beautiful photos of my current finished projects. I finished the majority of these tonight as I got a sudden burst of extra energy.

My super awesome leg warmers. They are actually the same length, I have some hives (if you notice) and was itching right before the picture took, lol. Also, one needs to be hemmed a bit, but overall pretty finished.

This is a tee that just got out of surgery. I wanted to try this new tying with ribbons thing I saw on some website. Because the t was a bit too low in the back for my taste, I also attatched the lace ribbon and made an extra strap in the back. (not visible I know). I will probably straighten out the cut later. I couldn't find my damn scissors so I had to use my grade school fiskers.

My super awesome scarf that I'm so proud of! What I can say to all you beginning knitters: the hairy looking thread like this hides mistakes really well! =)

Another tee, all I did was add a bit of pink fabric to the bottom of this old princess bride shirt, it was way too short. now it fits great! =)

Now, all I did here was add ribbon to these shoes~got them for free too! The ribbon was $1!

And of course, the old socks turned hobo gloves. My grandma bought me a pair of those toe socks during their popularity and they have just been sitting in my dresser. I really love the material, so I decided to make them hand warmers, especially since it's starting to get cool now.

There, now I can feel officially apart of the community. =) When I go back home for the Winter Break I'll take more pics of previous projects.

yeah, I really think those came out well. Old sleeves from some lame looking sweater with a giant turtle neck....I have no idea where I get this stuff. I just finished hemming it and it looks much better.

Yay! I love the leg warmers, and the ribbons on the shoes the best (it's amazing how much mileage you can get from ribbon details)

They are super warm. I'd wear them today but I'm wearing the sleeves I made yesterday based off of zombied's idea. And I kinda have a Q, can we post pics of other things we make or does it just have to be clothing based? Because, my boyfriend and I try to "DIY" everything, we're currently working on fixing up an old couch (it had cracked pink pleather on it, and we are now putting on brown material and we're making orange faux fur throw pillows), or I made a dresser, I also make soap and jewelry etc.

This is a pic of my dresser anyway. I thought it'd be cooler to spray paint it than finish it...probably not my brightest idea but once I added the stickers/buttons/random objects I think it really reflects who I am.

Oh, no, gosh, I think the dresser is fantastic! It's not what I'd do for me, but it looks like you!

Yay fluffy yarn!

I wouldn't recommend making a dresser unless you know what you're doing. You could probably get a cheap one at a garage sale or something and then decorate it.
I was just lucky because I got to use scraps from barn building and the tools at the farm I worked at. It's not the most perfect thing, but it's functional.

Yes, my name is Erica. That's a super old school Arizona (fake) license plate. It used to adorn my bicycle that I never use.

The leg warmers are finished now, as are a bunch of my projects too...I can't wait to post more.
