So I decided that I needed a mirror for my craft booth at the market. So I had this great picture in my head of putting a mirror on canvas and using polymer clay to finish of the edges. Well.......I screwed it all up and broke the mirror, actually I shattered it in my hands. I'm a genius, I know. Once I removed all the shards embedded in my hands and pitched a big baby fit I came up with this.
I used a MDF oval shaped wall hanging I picked up at the dollar store and glued the shards on. I extruded some clay and started design. I also had some small stained glass pieces I added in there too.
Now if I can keep from break this.........

Thats so cool! Nice way to salvage it after breaking it. Good luck on those seven years of bad luck.

Tutorial please! :D
I broke a mirror by stepping on it quite recently (oh messy rooms, you are surprisingly dangerous), this would be a great way to salvage what's left!
