View Full Version : My Gothic Lolita Mini Top Hat PICTURE OBESE

So I didn't actually MAKE the top hat part...but I did the rest of it with handy dandy glue gun! MUCH cheaper than the $45 to $50 ones online! That's ridiculous. It's for a shoot I have coming up in August. What do you guys think?
Be honest...I want it to look great for the photos! So tell me what to add..change...take away..etc.

I took off the circles with the little pearl beads. After seeing the photos, I didn't really like them. I'm making another for a friend and I'll post pics of that one, too!

it's stunningly cute. There are so many details, normally that throws a piece off, but it really makes the hat.

i actually want to make my prom dress for next year, and in my design there's a mini top hat involved. i'd love it if you made a tutorial!

also, how is it fastened?

I hadn't done it at that point yet, but it has a silky black ribbon attached that I will tie under my chin. Big bow - even more Lolita yumminess!!

Captain Jack (the dog) was not too happy about wearing it. LOL
I got the actual hat at my favorite store ever...Hobby Lobby.
