It's still an awesome DIY idea <3 Since I can't find any custom computer case or accesory shops here I've taken matters into my own hands and am in the process of spraypainting my computer system! So far I did the mouse and keyboard, and made a tute in Photoshop. View it on DA, I can't seem to resize down to the specifications for this board without ruining my tute. :/ I am attaching an image of the finished product tho!

try a color that jumps out of the color of the computer system more. it's too subdued at the moment.

Probably for other projects, but I am going for soft femme colors.

Quite cool :D Unfortunately my monitor is a boxy thing so it's a matter of taping off areas to keep clear and just painting over it. One day I will build an ultimate compy (when this one is too outdated to upgrade anymore, my processor (i think) type isn't made anymore. Eventually I'll have to switch to PCI Express) This project is giving me a chance to practice till then. :)
Spraypaint cans are so fun, its making me want to paint everything lol

Matched up my tablet :)
In hindsight I should have stenciled more yellow before doing the blue, its a bit lacking. Maybe I can distress the top layer with sandpaper and spray some yellow on and have a dirty effect?

I wish post editing was allowed >.>
I'll post a new tablet pic tommorrow, I went ahead adn distressed it and sketched in some doodles, then sprayed yellow on the back. The yellow paint has to dry overnight tho.

Photos? I'm a hair dye junkie. A Manic Panic slave. :d I keep a short bob and change the color every couple weeks (but I may stick with Green Envy for the rest of the summer because I LOVE the color!)

At the local thrift shops near me they always have keyboards. The one I like best is nice and you can buy them and take them home to make sure they work (and if not they will let you exchange them) I got a few from them for $2 each.
I am going to try this too. At least if something goes wrong between the disassembly and reassembly stages it is only $2 (plus a little paint and time....)
Thanks for the idea!

When I have money for more, I'm planning to do a rainbow keyboard for my friend Pam in Halifax ^_^ You know, since she shaved her head because people didn't believe her that she's gay. (Yet she still comes off like a princess lol)
I should decupauge (sp?) a pic of the olsen twins to it, she has an... obession we'll call it that. I think that's a present she'd treasure for life, definately.

Sweet! It's awesome when people pimp not just their cases, but the other stuff as well. I pimped my keyboard about 6 months ago.

Only the gold. The blue is just plain old blue.
By the way, I still haven't gotten around to putting the letters and stuff back on yet. Haha.
