I went thrifting last week and ended up finding some amazing shirts, one of which was a vintage pepsi logo shirt. I love fashion from the 80s, and not necessarily the totally wacky stuff.
So, I turned a regular large T-shirt into a scoop-neck/off-the-shoulder crop top that's perfect to wear over tank tops.

I went to a Jo-Ann Fabrics store in some random town that I don't know the name of, and I ended up finding gorgeous red tartan plaid for 3.99 a yard, which is a bargain enough for me because my nearest Jo-Ann doesn't carry much plaid, and when they do, it's 8.99 a yard or more. :(
Anyways, I've started to work on my college wardrobe (events start on August 12th, my classes start on August 20th), and I figured that the more skirts I have, the easier it's going to be for me to get dressed. Pants never fit me right on a day-by-day basis.
So, I made an elastic-waisted circle skirt, it's about knee-length. I made it from a strip of fabric that was 22" wide and 72" long to give it extra flowyness. Sorry about the blurry picture, my mirrror was the only way to go for this one.
