I was talking to my dad about what we needed to get the next time we went to Best Buy - I got a camera for my anniversary from my babe, 'cept it only came with what it had. He had bought a card reader to go with it, but no instructions or case. Not that I need instructions anyway. :p

"See a need, fill a need!" (yes, I was watching Robots. I <3 that movie) was what I heard when I finished talking about camera cases, just something to put it in. Welp, what better way to use up scraps!?!!?!

I have this GREAT plaid/tartan fabric.. but only little pieces of it! About four all together, about the size of A4 paper. I just needed something to put over it.. so I whipped this baby together in about fifteen-twenty minutes.

And yes, I actually used a different camera to take a picture of it. xD The Nikon is what my boyfriend gave me. <3

Critiques appreciated!

I love the plaid! Very resourceful! Did you make up the pattern yourself?

Yeah, the pattern is actually really easy. The drawstring was the hardest part though, but it's going to work for me since I'm gentle with (most of) my things.

I slipped the camera between the fold of the fabric, and added about a half inch all around for extra space and enough to sew. The top part I under-estimated, and had to carefully sew around the hem when it was sewn into a pouch shape. Works great though! I feel a bit better having my camera with me if I've got the cover over it, so it won't scratch and such.
