First thing is first, some dreds. A friend of mine bought this off me as a birthday gift to herself. I however, do my friends dred installations for free (and loaned her all the beads, bells, and coins that are in the pic for the night) Also note, there WILL be a tutorial comming soon on how to install double ended dreds yourself. Nightshade agreed to help me with this venture (i did the video while i had no voice, so a friend of mine read from a script while doing the video)...I just have to edit the footage and pop er' up on youtube.

Then I managed to get around to finishing the set of mittins for my other half/common-law bf/hubby/love of my life (the title is just a technicality in my eyes...just as long as the love is there right?...ok im getting sappy and rambling)

Then he got back up to take wonderful photos with his mad photo taking skillz, of the following shots of this scarf...I made it with the garter stitch, nothing fancy, but I knitted them on US 35 needles (19 mm for metric folks)
For the glow in the dark yarn, for those who want to know, I bought it at Zellers at Shoppers World (victoria park and Danforth in Toronto) for about 4$ a skein. Bernat is the manufacturer, and it comes in white, yellow, orange, blue, (as below) green/teal, a lavender color, and pink

And glowing under its own power with no light modifications at all. (just a really long shutter delay on the camera)

A coworker of mine theorized that if you used the straight white yarn, and used another all white yarn to knit a design into it, you could make a hidden design till you hit the club, and they glow in all their magnificiance.
And for the finale...This ensemble was made from 2 articles of clothing bought at Value Village (one of my local thrift stores). I look a bit frumpy in this outfit, but I wanted something that was comfortable, (and a skirt that I could potentially dance in) but also had the bright colors for summer. Wearing something that is very airy will make anyone look frumpy (i will admit im no lightweight, but this outfit kinda makes me look 100 pounds heavier, i also think its the angle of the photo). Im still happy with the way it turned out, and i dont really care that it makes me look big. I like my skirts big, and the top really holds the girls in there really well. Support is a goood thing.
The shirt and the firey stripes of the skirt used to be a dress that I re-hashed. The green parts of the skirt was a wrap around skirt, but I do have big hips, so needless to say it didnt sit right, but thankfully with all of the material being rayon, and being a similar motif, the material stitched up beautifully.
