Happy Mother's Day everyone!
I had planned to make my mom a birdhouse, which turned into a birdhouse and a necklace, which ended up being just a necklace...
its something a little simple:

Excuse my mom's "i just got out of bed, why are you taking my picture" smile...

And! And! AND!!! Since i'm trying to improve my etsy shop, including packaging... I made this lino block stamp to unify my packaging:

(its a bird)
and it chirps thank you's

Thanks for looking everyone!
and p.s. does anyone have any advice on how to go about getting business cards?

I love linoleum, you can rubber stamp carving supplies at Hobby Lobby or google Speedball. Clubflyers (http://www.clubflyers.com/) is a good place to get nice inexpensive business cards which I need to do myself.

The necklace is so creative!! Your jewelry is extremely unique and it's really innovative & clever! Love the stamp, too.
www.freebusinesscards.com. You choose from their templates & fonts, and then just pay shipping. If that company doesn't suit, google "free business cards" and you'll come up with several options. OR if you'd rather not do that, you can print them off at home, like ten at a time, with special cardstock.

I love that cute little bird!
And as for business cards I think the easiest and cheapest way to go is to make your own. I made mine that look pretty awesome just by getting some paper at Staples. You go to the site on the directions, design everything and print them out, the edges are perforated too so you don't have to worry about crooked cuts. I'm not very computer savvy and it only took me a good 30 minutes and I had 250 cute cards ( here's the link http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/p4_Staples-Inkjet-Business-Cards-2-x-3-1-2-Matte-Ivory-250-Cards_141414_Business_Supplies_0_10051_SC1:CG24:DP 1520:CL141306:SS1028012)

Ooo, my only problem is my printer doesn't print as vivid images as i want, not even a very good solid black... so i think i'll just make them myself (super diy-style) as i go along, so they'll be like little ATC's, little gifts of art to my customers...

I adore the nest necklace ! As for business cards, I know some people who cut them from cereal boxes and use the back. It is cheap and green !

great job on your present, if you are planning on getting business cards, but your printer isn't up to par with what you want, you could see if you could go to a local print shop or see if you have a graphic communications, printing, or art program at your shool which has a nice printer, you may have to pay to have them printed, but if its a small order it might not be too terribly expensive...
