i wanted something green to keep on my desk, so i decided to make a little moss garden. i used a 1 liter bolthouse farms juice bottle, some pebbles, dirt, and moss i collected on a field trip with my botany class. i also made some little decorations using polymer clay. there are some mushrooms, a flower, and a fairy. each one has a toothpick to keep it stuck in the moss. let me know what you think!

Wow Doll, that's pretty cool! I love how it looks like there's a little mini world in the bottle;) I adore the little mushrooms and the colors rock!;) You did an amazing job Doll!

i really like this, specially for people like me who don't really have a green thumb. i love all the little mushrooms inside!

Oh, sweet! It's like a terrarium! I made one if fourth grade, but it died. Yours is cute, though!

thanks for the comments everyone! tany--that's just what i was going for! i wanted a little piece of forest for my room. when i make more decorations it will be even cooler. i plan to make larger scale figurines so there will be like a tree or a mountain in the bottle. i could make prehistoric tree ferns!

hob--i bet you want to play with my tiny fairy. it's hard to see, but she is busty like minka!

addie--i don't know if you can really kill moss if you keep it wet. it will stop growing, but it will stay pretty and green as long as it never dries out completely. and since it's inside a bottle, that's pretty unlikely. so you and riot could totally keep some moss around to be pretty :)
