Just got my wisdom tooth pulled out and I kept it. haha I was thinking of spray painting it gold and making some odd necklace or is that a little too weird. Any Ideas? haha yeah, using human parts in DIY...that's not new at ALL lol jk O_o

Actually, the Victorians were rather morbid. For example, they would have hair from deceased loved ones made into accessories. I once saw a very interesting pocket watch chain made of hair.

But anyway, what about getting some older or synthetic crocodile teeth, shark teeth, and make your tooth the centrepiece? THAT would be an interesting necklace!

Or maybe thread it onto a loop as an earring?

Haha thanks for the interesting facts. I'm glad I'm not so morbid or anything. I should look for a good thin chain if I attempt the necklace lol.

one thing, the thing is huge O_o I don't know it'll be obnoxious as a necklace.

You're lucky. When I had my wisdoms removed, they had to break them into pieces, so there wasn't much to keep. Did you just get them out? I felt really bad the whole week after I had them removed. Hopefully it won't be so bad for you.

I just got them out this morning. One only, and it came out in one whole piece. haha I was crying earlier T-T I hate dental surgery.

I had all 4 out at once; the had to drill into my jaw too :(. I was so swelled up, it looked like I doubled my weight on my face.

I found the salt water rinse made me feel better (if not less puss-y). And don't use a straw! Get well soon :)

You? Random? Naaaah! ;) S'ok, though. I like weird.

I think you'd end up cracking the tooth unless you use some sort of drill like jewelers use? I have NO idea what these are called, or how to use them. Also, You'd have to find paint that would not slide off the tooth enamel. Maybe like glass paint from Michael's?

Yeah, they had to bust apart my wisdom teeth, to, and I wound up going home with broken bits. Holy CRAP that was 18 years ago!!! Oh, jeez. I'm OLLLLD.

Er. I meant "Maybe" and not "Baybe." fixed!

I like the necklace idea, I don't think it would be that big. As for drilling, my grandmother and I used to drill into seashells to make necklaces and earrings, they didn't break too often, but I would suggest asking for a drill they use in Jewling or a drill they use in Ceramics. Whichever is cheaper. I don't think they're called drills though, I'm not sure. I think the one for ceramics is called an Etcher or something. I'll have to look that up.

I had my wisdoms removed 2 years ago. All four of them. Me and my brother at the same time. xD

Mom had a fun time... and bought LOTS of pudding.

it's called relative transference, it works with loosing and gaining weight as well. From one relative to another lol.

And now I want butterscotch pudding. At 5:50 am.

Uh, This may be why my jeans don't fit right, and I'm sewing a skirt for myself right now. I keep telling myself they "shrunk in the wash," but like Shakira says, hips don't lie!

OK, I want butterscotch pudding for breakfast, and am quoting Shakira like she's Mahatma Ghandi. I seriously need help. Hee.

Awww man, now I want butterscotch pudding, too. Thanks! (lol)

However, seeing as it's the middle of the day and I have nothing to do, I might just kidnap my little brother and we should go get some. ^^ I could also pick up some fabric while in town. :D Yes, town. Shh, I'm not hick, I swear!

Hey, if it's any consolation, it's hard for me to find fabric, too, and I'm on the South Side of Chicago! Like, I'm seriously only a few neighborhoods away from where Kanye West grew up, and 20 minutes to downtown by train. I have to drive all the way into the stupid burbs for a JoAnn's or a Michael's. Shoot! I forgot to go to Vogue Fabric on Roosevelt Road this weekend. Damnit.

Oh, topic? Bandannas.

(Yes, I'm lame.)

it is random, but unique. someone at my dad's jewelry had his tooth... or somebody that died's tooth into a charm for a necklace. But spray painting it a bold gold.. make sure it's not a "flat" gold cause it will ruin the purpose!

Yeah, kinda lame, but fun!

It's a small consolation. I live in the middle of Texas. It takes me a half-hour to get into town and the selection there isn't all that good. So I'm kinda stuck with whatever I can find.
