View Full Version : Tacky Sweats to Fabulous Skirt!

Bought some too-small sweats at Value Village and turned them into this cute little skirt. It took the length of RENT to hand sew the whole thing. I cut the legs off and cut out all of the serged seams, then took the legs and made four triangles which I inserted into the holes left from the seams. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x113/vampirebatjosie/DSC03331.jpg

Then, I sewed all of the leftover seams together to make a killer wrist band!

Awesome print, and that's a rad idea with the wristband! Definitely gonna do that next time I have serged scraps! XD

Rent the movie or Rent the stage show? One is significantly longer than the other (not to mention better).

I hate sweats but the zebra print looks pretty good, especially as a skirt. Great job!

the skirt is wonderful but i must say im a bigger fan of the bracelette btw where on EARTH did you find zebra sweats!?!
