I made this up as a gift for my ex-husband's mother , who just did a course of chem therapy. She needs stylish head coverings and lives in COLD Pennsylvania. Although I sent her a picture of incredibly cute granddaughter in the hat, I decided (after much deliberation) to keep the actual child.
I attached a big chunky rose to the top of the hat. This was made using Lion Brand Suede yarn and a bigger hook.
The kid size wool scarf is in my etsy shop.
