Comic Shoes!

I made these twodays ago :D
I found a pair of knock-off vans that I never wore, so I decided to cover them up :D

okay. how the hell do you modge podge. Because I wanna do this so bad!! Could you do it with magazines too??????

Because I have some fashion ads and some crappy shows that would look great covered in my favorite models.

hechopormi: i cut up the sunday comics into irregular shapes, then put mod podge on both sides of the paper, then put it on the shoe, (the side i wanted facing up obviously). I overlapped the comics so they would cover up the pattern. After i got everything how i wanted, i put a layer of mod podge all over the shoe, waited for it to dry, and repeated 2 more times. I'm sure it would work with magazines. I hope this helped! If i didn't, you ould just google "how to mod podge canvas shoes" and i'm sure something will come up :D

That's cool and they look great. Are they waterproof? Will they last if they get dirty and you have to clean them... just wondeirng.
