Ok, so... I used to know the VERY basics of knitting, but can't quite remember how to... I'd love to see a "Knitting Basics" Video from R&C. I need something to do to keep busy at night instead of snacking and watching tv! ha I've got a little book on knitting but it's much easier to actually see "how to"... at least for me!

And I need to learn fast! I'm going to be an aunt in a few months and want to knit a little something special for the new baby in the family! yay! :)

Anyone else interested? :p

This lesson came just in time for me. I'm not sure how my ripped, torn, and knocked around wardrobe'll manage me through the winter, so I've been wanting to get my scarf-making on!

theres a show on DIY netwrk called "Knitty Gritty" they have videos and instructions, and they have baby things (mittens, blanket, hat?,)
Instruction Index:

I had a book called Stitch n' Bitch (lovely title, no?) and they had instructions for "One Hour Baby booties" I made two pairs for my friend who was expecting and they were the talk of the shower!

If you want a scan of it, or need any knit tips, just give me a shout, ok?

Another fun knitting book is "DomiKnitrix".

I'm having some trouble with the knitting. I'm good with the casting on, and putting the yarn from that needle to the other one, but I get stuck on the very last loop, where the slipknot is. I don't know what to do with it, and it always ends up getting tangled.

Also, if I conquer that task, how do I start a new row? Sometimes the videos go a little fast for me..
