I need to find a biography to read by Jan 5. I was wondering if any of you knew any interesting biographies or people I could read about.
I don't want to read about George Washington again...

John Adams by David Mcullough (spelling?)
As said above, he was a very interesting person, as was his wife, Abigail.

Eleanor of Aquitaine by Alison Weir
Eleanor was really a fascinating woman. She could in some ways be considered a medieval pioneer for women's rights. She was a woman of power in a man's world. Weir is an excellent author, you might also try her Elizabeth I.

If neither of those are your thing, Winston Churchill also tends to make for an interesting read.

She's Not There by Jennifer Finney Boylan is AWESOME! Maybe I love it because a lot of my BFFs are transsexuals. It's hysterically funny though.
