recycled magazine paper necklace

We had a "no spending" Christmas at our house this year (we're traveling, so we celebrated Christmas on Thanksgiving!). My mother-in-law is a huge fan of Hilary, Barack, liberal politics and pro-woman ideology. So I made her this necklace from magazine pages featuring articles on all her favorites. I used the paper-rolling technique featured a while back on Threadbanger and included a few beads I had lying around.

Augustsun, it depends on what you're using to string it up. If you use something chunky like hemp, you could rig up a knot and loop closure or button and loop closure that wouldn't require hardware. Just measure the intended neck first since a necklace like that won't be adjustable like this one. Glad you like it!

Thats ko0l, I made a bracelet out of mag. pages. I loved it. They only down fall is i loved it so much i never took it off so the paper didnt last to long. IDK lol

It looks really cute! It takes me forever to make paper beads. I have been doing them when I have lots of time on my hands. It's so nice to see someone take paper beads and make such a nice necklace :D
