I found a tutorial for these on Craftster, but I accidentally closed the window and lost it seemingly forever! D'oh!
Anyway, it was simple enough...
Buy yourself some tasty-good Arizona Tea at your friendly neighborhood pharmacy, enjoy its tasty-goodness, etc.
Then cut off the top of the can (making sure to keep all digits clear of your cutting utensil and the raw edge of the can...trust me here).
Then use a pair of sturdy scissors to cut the sides of the can into strips.
Then you bend the strips under at a bit of an angle, and then again in the opposite direction at approximately the same angle. You get this really neat flowery effect:
