View Full Version : Polo T-shirt Into a Bag! (Pic Heavy)

So I had this awesome orange striped polo but I put a hole in it somehow and it was unfixable so I turned it into a bag! I kinda just did it, I didn't use any pattern. OH and this is my very first sewing machine project! Be nice...Im learning :p

Basically I just cut and sewed the t-shirt halfway from the bottom. I sewed the arms closed, and made straps from the bottom half that I had cut away.

I had a random piece of red shoelace that I used for a draw string and I used the leftover fabric to made a decorative 'flare' piece by cutting 3 long strips and braiding them and them looping them onto one of the straps.
