freezer paper stenciled tees--The CAB & dougie poynter

ok so i guess i'm combining two tees i made awhile back and just now took pictures of. i love to stencil if you haven't already figured that out. haha. (feel free to click images for a better view)

so the first is a tee i made for The CAB for the WHY SO SERIOUS? tour, their first ever headlining tour--i went to the opening show. and yeah. i got it signed. as you can see in the pictures. (bird image is credit to my friend Brandon S. Large) otherwise, i drew the heart and figured out the font for the band logo.

and here's a tee i stenciled of dougie poynter of mcfly. it was officially my first stencil i ever made and i figured i should put it on a shirt as a memory. i just never had the time to finish cutting it until now.

Cool! I don't know who dougie is but it looks like it would be hard to make that neat of a stencil!

How do you make a stencil out of freezer paper?

just cut out the design on the freezer paper with an x-acto knife...wax side facing down. and then iron on the design (wax side facing the shirt so it sticks to the shirt) to the tee shirt, paint it, let it dry, then peel it off. and don't forget to put another piece of freezer paper on the inside wax facing up so the design doesn't move and the paint doesn't bleed through.
