I see we're on the same page. A few days ago, I stumbled upon the video and, after assuring wary relatives the smell would go away, tried it today. I'm happy to say it works! :) The smell does go away in the wash and logos are fine. I don't know about other fabrics, but this does work for 100% cotton clothing. I should probably add that the hot water part is necessary. If your washer isn't connected to hot water, just fill something with hot water and let the clothes soak for a while. I did it and it worked out just fine.

To anyone handling vinegar: wear rubber gloves. It saves soap, water and noses. Seriously. One of my cats hissed at the smell of my hands.

Happy Unshrinking :)

I wonder if this could possibly work for some snug blue jeans...?

Woot! Good to hear it works. I've still yet to try it due to my lazyness keeping me from the store >.> but I do have quite a few cast off tee shirts that I hope I can give new life too..

Do you think washing 2 or 3 of them at the same time effects anything?

Thanks! My job issues 100% cotton shirts and they shrink. ALOT.
