Hi

I was so boared today that I decided to browse the forums for ideas and then get creative so I made three things....

First my Shoulder bag

I have never attempted a bag before but found it not too hard. I messed up the straps but managed to rescue them. I used a shiny fabric for the lining but it did move around a lot.

Next I made an apron from my old jeans. I work with kids so might use the apron as part of a story teller idea. Still going to add more to it.

you get the idea...and thanks to my lovely G for modelling it, lol.

Then I decided to try and make a hoodie. I'd never done a garment from scratch before that wasnt part of a dance outfit so I found it a bit tricky. I messed the sleeves up but salvaged them by adding quirky shoulder slits and patterned rings.

I'm not sure I'll wear it out but it is cosy! I didnt measure my arms properly so had too much fabric and when I tried to do a little bit of gathering it tightened the neck line, but at least I know what not to do next time! Please ignore my silly faces

So what do you think? Opinions welcome

Nic
