This is my third pair of pants and for these I wanted to use a yoke instead of darts. I also wanted to try the idea of a low rise style with a wide waist band.
Found this fabric at a thrift shop for $1 a yard and knew it was meant to be pants. I had the pocket and fly facing fabric in my stash already. I did the inside of the waist band with the pocket fabric which looks cool but presented some construction issues. The lining fabric doesn't stretch so it makes the waist want to roll away from the body ever so slightly. I'll either cut on the bias next time or use something else. Also I need to make some adjustments if I want to include pockets and maybe not so wide a waist next time.
Overall I think they turned out good for my first yoke attempt.
