My first DIY project!

Well it's not really my first ever...but my first in a long time...and the first since i got my sewing machine!

A very simple and basic project of turning my jeans into a skirt! I've got so many old pairs of jeans so i thought i might as well put them to a good use!

I also doodled a wee design onto them :) I cant wait till i get paid next week and get stuck in to making things from scratch!

Well...normally i would have used my fabric pens or paint but my flat is a bit of a bombsite at the moment so couldn't find them. So i used an ink pen....im not sure if i should go over it in fabric pen (if i can find them!) or just hope it doesn't completely fade when i wash it...
